Went to run my Nitro Sport the other day and when I tried to start it with the EZ start I heard a snap and then the electric starter motor ran without turning the engine. I had an old Pro15 engine from another project with a pull-start so I just swapped the broken EZ start for the pull-start from the spare engine. Works great. I might convert my other Traxxas Nitro’s as well. Not a huge fan of the EZ start.😎

It doesn't seem like it but if you walk to the bash site or roll over you don't risk your pants falling with just an igniter in it. 🫠🙃
I walked around with a lighter to warm the engine, tuner/screwdriver, phone and glowplug igniter this vacation lol

I guess I’ve been pretty fortunate with that truck. It’s almost 10 years old and the EZ worked fine until a couple days ago when it let go. What gets to be a pain is when you go to fire it up and the starter wand battery dies and you can’t start the truck. 🤬

I kept 2 chargers on. Rotating receiver and wand batteries for the duration of the session! Had to keep a few stick packs charged up at all times for this reason!!!
