What is the best and cheapest brand of external lipo cutoffs for my emaxx? Dont have the money to go brushless but i still want to run my lipos with it.

I also use the same one for my roto start for my nitros too. It is way better than paying $30-$40 for something. Just time a full run down on a set of batteries and the next time you start getting close on time bring it in for a close pass and look and listen. They are loud and bright as hell when they go off. I am stone deaf and I can even hear them.

I got mine off Ebay for my Emaxx for like 5 bucks for 2 of them to my door from Hong Kong and they work great

If you want something that will actually shut down the ESC then Novak has their Smart-Stop module. Little pricey at $25 compared to the alarms, but you would only need one since it goes between the esc and receiver instead of attaching to the packs themselves.

+1, Rob. I used one on Losi Mini Rock Crawler before I went to a brushless set up.
