I'm up too my tenth tank on the new car. I have noticed a rather opposing problem. When I run the car for prologed periods of time, There is a build up of a gold-coloured liquid along the body (the inside of the body, along where the exhaust vents and along the outside lower portion.) Also along the bottom of the exhaust pipe itself. I think this liquid might be some kind of lubricant. I use O'donnells racing fuel...
I also noticed, and this might get a bit difficult to explain- but here goes: Where you add the fuel to the tank, There is a strong spring around the top, to keep the tank closed.attached to the gas tank are two pliable blue hoses. One leads into the needle valve, fueling the enigine itself. Now, the thing I do not understand is the other hose. It leads into the back of the EXHAUST PIPE??!! that just seems to be...well- assinine. the fuel that is passed through the exahust hose is usually brown or other murky colored, and is deposited directly into the tank itself. WTF is this about? If anybody has any ideas, pleasse post- It would ge greatly appreciated. I would post pics, but Don't want to be a bandwith whore.
