Hey Robmob,

Do you know if I would need to purchase a Mod 1 gear, or would I stick with a typical 32P? I haven't been able to find the info. Thanks again.

The stock spur is not Mod 1. Those are normally found on 8th scale buggies/truggies.

I am running a pair of MaxAmps 2S 8000HV Lipo packs.

Wow! I bet that thing screams! I am not quite ready to go lipo just yet.

Thanks for the info!

Hey Rob,

Do you know if a 7 cell pack made side by side will work in the side pods of the Revo, or do you think I need to get them made up shotgun style with one at the end? I don't have the demensions of the pods and was curious if the 7 cell packs I have now will work. Have a great day my friend.

Tom

They should fit just fine.

I will double check when I get home since I have a 7 cell pack made up just like yours.

Thanks my friend. I appreciate it. Sorry for so many questions. :D

My E-Revo did not make it here yesterday and now I am looking at either a Tuesday or Wednesday arival. Doh!

My 7-cell 4200 packs fit perfectly.

Thanks agian Rob..... Guess what... another question! LOL

Are the RPM arms for the Nitro Revo the same for the E revo?

Yes they are.

That's what is great about the ERevo. A bunch of the hop-ups for the nitro Revo are compatible.

I am going to swap the RPM arms from my nitro revo over as soon as I get some time from my other builds.

Thanks for the info my friend. I am going to go ahead and order a set then. I have also ordered a set of tubes as well.

Again...sorry for all questions.

Oh yeah... I just thought of another one!.... What is the secret of life? LOL

No problem on the questions.

The secret of life is to crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of the women.

Hey Rob...

Do you know if the Traxxas swaybar kit will work with the E-Revo? I know you said that you run the Tekno kit... did you have to mod any? I can't tell from the photos on the web, but it looks like it might be a bit of a tight fit with the way the motor sit in the front of the truck. Thanks my friend.

Tom

Get the Tekno kit. It is a direct bolt-on and there is no clearance issues.

If you go with the Traxxas kit, you will not be able to use the rear bumper and mount.

Ok Thanks. I don't know why it is so hard to find this info on the web. LOL Thankfully I know an E-Revo owner... or I would be doing alot of guessing!

Does the Tekno kit use steel or aluminum rods?
