its here!!! by the time i got home i had a nice big box waiting for me in the garage. So far all i've done is open the box and sniff it. :) but like you guys said, its NICE.

i'm sure i'll have a boat load of questions come tomorrow so please be patient with me.

Ahhhhhh..... The smell of a freshly opened box containing a new RC. There is nothing quite like it.

Nope there is nothing like it! It is addicting for sure. Just wait until you drive that thing for the first time! The smile will go from ear to ear! Congrats my friend!

guys...this thing is a beauty. sleek and sexy is the best way to describe it.

i do have a question tho. i know the stock ESC is not lipo friendly (no lvc). is there a way to run an aftermarket LVC? i looked at the novak one, but it looks like i can't use it since the erevo runs two battery plugs.

oh another question. i picked up two losi (7.4v 5000mah) lipo batteries this morning on the way to the office and will be using a dynamite lipo charger. my question is, at what rate should i charge them at? 3-4volts?

5000mah lipo pack would be charged at 5amps. Be sure to read the instructions for the charger to make sure you do everything properly. I am not familar with that charger. The ones I need to tell the charger how many cells with sets the voltage and then how many mah which sets the charge rate.

You can use external LVC's, but i believe you will need one for each pack. Be sure to get the proper rated LVC's for the packs you are using.

rob,
if i need one for each pack, i'm guessing i'll need a 'Y' connector to plug into the receiver?

well i got the erevo out for a few packs today and its getting better with every pack. it definitely handles like its on rails. so how is everyone elses coming along. any major areas that i need to keep an eye on for wear or breakage?

I have not encountered any issues at all.

Rob,
do you have any issues with traction roll? i just ran another pack thru her and i got a decent amount of traction rolls this time. mostly going to the left side

I run Tekno sway bars and have not had an issue with traction rolling.

I also only run it on a tight on-road course using Road Rage 40's.

I have not encountered any issues either. The truck is awesome. I also run the tekno sway bar kit and it has helped with the traction rolls a bunch. With the stock tires the truck still wants to pull the truck onto two wheels in a hard banked turn on pavment, but with the sway bars installed I just hit the throttle and she levels right out. I also installed the traxxas "tubes" and replaced the stock turnbuckles with the Traxxas aluminum ones. (Purely Cosmetic) Over the winter I have Lundsford Ti hingpins and RPM arms that I will be installing. I have the single motor mount and gear cover so that I can move the BL motor from my Emaxx over into the Revo as well. Lots of fun to be had with this truck for sure!

okay...thanks for the info guys. i'll look into the swau bar kit. is Tekno the only way to go, or will any sway bar kit work? next time i'll be a more specific too...i was driving it in the driveway and making hard turns so i guess the traction roll to some degree should have been expected.

Get the Tekno. Simple to install and works great.

If you get the Traxxas one, you will not be able to us the rear bumper.

If you are using stock tires, then you will easily traction roll since they tend not to slide along concrete or asphalt. The Road Rage's I use actually enable me to drive a little in the turns.

The other downside to the Traxxas bars is that you have to drill holes in your rear rockers. Not a huge deal... but not "clean" look in my opinion. The tekno set looks like it could be stock.
