Hi all,

I have just purchased this controller for my hpi savage running an lrp.32.

Is there anything I can buy for the car to get the engine temp reading on my led screen on my controller?

Thankyou in advance.

Not all LCD screens on Transmitters (TXs) support temperature or voltage readings. The ones that do advertise telemetry in their specs such as the DX4s from Spektrum. And even then it requires a sensor and a special receiver (RX) module. I'm not sure that Sanwa offers telemetry.

Ah ok mate. I'm not really clued up on it bit would buy whats needed if i could.

I know its got voltage on it but not sure about temp yet.

I use a temp gun and a "dumb" radio. The Revo I got secondhand has a temp sensor/failsafe unit on it. I can't recall the brand, but I believe it's Venom.

RX 461 or 462 have telemetry but u need to check ur radio if it supports telemetry. I'm using MT-S radio which supports telemetry.
