I have an old brushed version. Does anyone know of a motor and esc the is not the Momba monster. The reason is the price I sdont see spending 350 on a motor and esc for a toy.

Just remember that the E-Maxx is a heavy rig and will need a 1/8 scale motor and ESC.

The MM only cost 290 through traxxas's power up program.

Id look at a Hobbywing 150A ESC and a Tenshock 1/8 scale motor. I wanna say its a 2150kv that is 6S capable. You still look at about $200 bucks though. Electronics aint cheap although it is a good amount cheaper than $350
