The composite ones?
Whatever comes on the factory axle I thought about swapping em for aluminum but figured I'm safer with the The devil I know type thing
I figure if I swap it sure as I do I'll instead break an axle or something

Ecto update. Got a Jconcepts Anvil body. Doing mods to mount it. Had a Hobbywing FOC 1800kv motor since September. Been working on some upgrades & gonna install the motor. Removed the stock motor & ESC. Did a SOA servo on axle mount. True 4-link front & panhard bar delete. Cut out the servo/ESC plastic tray to have room for the SOA servo up sweep. Had to keep it to still mount the shock towers, they screw into it. Got it filed & notched for the servo ears/tabs at all movements. Modded the body posts to mount this carbon fiber magnetic body mount & retained the carbon fiber tube I installed between the upper front shock towers I did last year. Got some ideas for the rear of the cab & a waterproof receiver box. Either magnetic mounts or clip body posts facing the rear out the back of the cab.

Got the body mounted. Front magnets on top of the body for mock up. Still have to expoy them underneath. Used two generic receiver boxes for rear body mounts & use the front leftover posts. They are not the final version, just mock up for hole locations in the two boxes & body. They are secured in thru a post hole & a long screw against the floor of box. Pretty cool huh. Got some aluminum ones on the way to replace them but are dimensionally the same but short on mount hole side. The right side reciever box will house the reciever. It was on the left, exposed. Drilled a 6mm hole in it for a rubber grommet for the antenna wire. There is a antenna mount on both sides of the plates, the receiver boxes are rested up against them. More to come. Got a few more adjustments here and there.

Added a fuel cell & front aluminum servo tray to the rear bed. Made some rock sliders out of carbon fiber tube I had from another build. Don't know if they will do much, but they are there & look cool. Attached w/ nylon straps. Really tight, they can move slightly. Actually might be a good thing. Cut some 0.060" Kydex for some inner fender panels. Also left over from another. Not screw mounted, just sticky dots for now. Easy removal. The fuel cell is a receiver box, empty. Drilled < tapped M3s in the aluminum tray this morning to mount it. Perfect fit. Body doesn't even need clips in the rear.

The fuel cell looks great! Also looks like a perfect spot for a magnet if you want some extra securtiy locking the body down. :thumbs-up:
That would be cool. I have to waterproof the receiver box, mount the receiver, run & mount antenna, mount the servo & steering link to knuckle & it's basically done, route wiring. The body posts are temporary & I have a generic aluminum set on the way I'm gonna use O-rings with to waterproof the holes. And paint the body. Don't have any paint yet.

Machined some aluminum body posts to accept an O-ring to waterproof the post. Spun ground the M3 button heads down to fit. They rest against the side & bottom of the box, securely, much more ridged than the plastic ones with no O-rings. Also provides more room in the receiver box for a new receiver. Slotted the end for the ESC & servo cables & added grommets & cut one end out. Maybe that will be waterproof enough.
