Element Enduro Ecto Black- I bought one!

Here's a few of the aftermarket upgrades I've seen that got my eye. Not going to mod it too much too quickly. Gonna run it several times RTR & watch & see how it does box stock.

Those two options for C-hubs-- Yeah Racing are brass & the SSD are aluminum. Not sure which would be preferable. Aluminum may slide better & be more forgiving but the brass would be a little stronger & heavier.

If it has the same brushed motor with esc, and same weak a$$ servo, I would start right there. The motor is weak but does the job. The esc is jumpy and you may find yourself swapping the motor wires so reverse is no longer trying to wheelie right away.
The stock servo was weak for this application. I used it in a smaller car and it was fine, but sadly powered it direct with a 2s lipo and it was fast for only one second. It can only take 7.4V max, not the ~8.— of a fully charged lipo.

I wouldn’t do the brass knucks just yet, it will make your truck super heavy. They are nice, I have some on my injora rock racer.

I've got a few extra servos, new, I think one of them would be a tremendous upgrade. Won't have to purchase one. I'll plan to get the HW Fusion Pro 2300kv FOC 2n1 combo. That's why I got a battery that's already XT60 & an adapter to the Reedy ESC deans. I'm gonna get used to how it performs & not jump too quickly to $$ upgrades, as I have in the past with RC's.

i put the quickrun fusion pro in, easy peasy great motor, goes right in no problem, most of your list is the stuff in my list i have yet to order cause I'm lame lol
the rear link mounts have been my most broken part. like 3 of em maybe 4, but I'm rougher than normal on em.
i want a big ol reefs servo for it but $$$$
those hex extenders slip on easy peasy too. the front bumper kinda is a little long, it affects your entry angle so i cut mine down 10mm, but now you see the issue I'm havin with winch so oopsie lol

I'm not that guy that plugs his channel cause i didnt have one till i got into this hobby really, if you go to mine and type ecto ittl show you a LOT of videos on the ecto from a learners perspective and it climbing dumb stuff from its stock runs till literally yesterday lol.
this way i dont keep derailing your build bro

this was the old man pushing a tire lol i love it

That’s a solid plan. Before you do any knuckles or hubs, I would recommend some aluminum beadlocks. The plastic ones are great but you can’t beat the injora 1.9’s. The hex adapters are a great idea.
Just drive it awhile before you commit to goodies on the axles, you may decide to use an entire SSD axle up front, (I know I’m thinking about it).

You don’t need a spendy reefs on there man, that cheap flash hobby ☝️ right there is what my sendero HD uses. Plenty of grunt for $60.

I've been looking at some HobbySoul aluminum true beadlocks that look pretty killer & are a little wider & stay with 6mm wide hexes. Those alone will add weight.
You have the link or P/N of the solid aluminum SSD front axle? They make a rear?

I feel like I’m waiting for this truck in mail…. When does it get here??
I imagine the site will ship it tomorrow & I'll get tracking then.

They don’t make a solid aluminum axle, the pumpkin is plastic and the tubes are aluminum.

Something like this is what I’m thinking…..

Sometimes I have so much to say, I forget what I’m trying to say 🤪
Once you upgrade your servo, you’ll notice the pan hard mount flexes a lot more. I have a senderoHD not the ecto but, I think they are the same setup there. I think stiffening the panhard with better shock towers is a good looking upgrade.
Here let me cut a deep hole in your pocket. @332_RC, @majin, check out the ecto stuff these guys have:

Got it! I like those IERC Scaler shock towers with integrated panhard mount.

I dig it. Looking forward to the reports.
I dig it too! Looking forward to slowing down a bit. Get technical.

I have an aluminum case 42kg servo with a plastic case top that will run 38kg on 7.4v & 0.093 speed.

Congratulations on getting the eckto truck, your going to love it and I'm not surprised your addicted. 😉
Yes! I built a 81 GMC crawler/mud truck back in 2000-2002. Sold it in 2010.
44" Boggers & a stout motor. Locked Dana 60/70 axles & a bob tail flat bed I fabricated myself. Did crawling & hard core climbing & mud bogging with it. Going back to that with RC.

The flat shock plates. Can the shocks be run stock if put in a similar location on the plate? Reading that internal shock springs may be required to limit droop if mounted in an extreme location.

Are the aluminum CNC shock hoops any good? Most don't have as many holes for adjustment but do have a integrated panhard mount like the plates.
