Ok so i have a E firestorm flux, the first one, and i some how managed to break the esc. So I'm gonna order a cheeper hobby knig one that has got some good reviews. It has a 100A rate. If i want to buy a new lipo, should i get a 5000mah 3s 40c lipo? What my main question is here is...Is that C rateing to high? I am unfamiliar with these batteries.. I just dont want to fry the esc or the stock motor.:\

Do you have a link to the esc your buying?

The C rating can never be to high, it doesn't matter what motor/esc it is, the higher the C rating on the battery, the better...The motor and ESC will only pull what it needs, it's better to have a nice high C rating then one that would be to low

So to answer your original question, No, that C rating is not to high

He means a web link, AKA a url of the product's web page so that he can look at the specs and give advice to you...
