Rolex that exactly what i have been practicing, i have 15 more flights after the video and I'm gaining confidence. when I did the video it was aileron 30% +10 rudder 50% +20 and elevator 25% +15, that's what it's been at from the start. My buddy can make his hover with full throws so the power is there but I'm lacking skill.

BTW I can't fly it on high rates, I only tried for about 15 seconds and it was getting away from me.

Did it come with a Tx or did you bind n fly to a computer radio?
If you have the computer you can lower your rates even more till it's as docile as a glider. Then you can raise the rates little by little as you gain confidence.

It came as a BNF and I'm using a DX6i, I probably should have started with lower rates but I'm comfortable with them now. I can't believe how much the simulator has helped, there's no way I could have kept this thing in one piece without it....I wish I would have bought one before I killed all of those helis!

+1, Rolex. I would have bought 3 or 4 complete helis if I hadn't started playing on the sim. I need to see if they have a Carbon Cub SS on there now.

Another vote for the sim, as well as a cheap trainer heli that crashes well, like the MCP X. THe carbon sub is sweet for sure, I just have no good place to fly UM aircraft, dangit.
