Never dismantled a rear end before and just curious to what that steel disk is on the rod, it has a screw adjustment, I'm assuming a clutch or bell or something? I didnt know what it was until I looked at the gear itself and realized that that little disc spins and opens a little slit and catches a lil bar inside this "bell" but anyways my question, I screwed the screw on that thing like it was held on by it and do not know if i have altered anything and need to figure out what stock adjustment is.

Thanks guys

its the second speed clutch. the offset screw is use to set your shift point, all the way in makes it shift later. i would back it out to about half way and test it out. you are going to have to ajust it to get it back to where you liek it to shift
