I'm having problems with my dx2 radio it doesn't seem to respond when the power is turned on...the batteries are fresh(tested them in another radio)...the weird thing is that the LED sync light on the back of the radio blinks, but the LCD does not come up nor do any of the buttons work..The radio sat up awhile in a box out in the garrage, but it did not get wet and it hasn't been too hot so that would rule out a burnt LCD or board any help would be appreciated thanks in advance-Q

How old is the radio the reason why i ask is some times you can call who made it and they will replace it for free.

It could be a bad solder trace on the main circuit board or something else similar to that. You might want to chek with Spektrum and see what they can do to help.

Call Horizon Hobby about it. They have great customer service.

Has the battery pack sat as well? Reason I ask is Spektrum receivers are very sensitive to battery pack condition. I have seen them actually glitch with a well tested but fairly new 600mah Nicd pack. Tried fresh AA batts in it and it still glitched. I pulled my 1100 Nimh pack from my car and stuck it in the guys truck, the glitching disappeared.
i have had failing servos cause the receiver to act stupid as well.
Horizon should help you out though. They do have top-notch warranty service.

Had a buddy with near the same model radio and we put his battery pack in and it worked...i also took my pack and put it in his radio and his came up??? But after a bit of messing with it i stuck my pack back in and (BEEP) the screen came up and everything lol well at least it works now ha ha thanks for the help
