I got a Duratrax vendetta in a trade a few days ago and I am noticing that when giving it throttle it doesn't ease into it it just like there's medium speed and up no low speed it anyone know how to fix this

Is it a brushed motor (2 wires going to the motor) or brushless (3-wires going into the motor)?
Heck with er', who needs partial throttle!

Id say programming too but I don't think that ESC is user programable, at least not easily.
Here is a manual for that ESC in case you don't have one, I would double check that everything is as the manual designates.

Ok so any ideas what I should do guys??If you see solder dots on the motor can that would mean the capacitors were removed. I'm pretty sure their only function is to cancel whatever interference can be created between the running motor and the receiver and not all motors have them. It wouldn't be the cause of the problem you're having.
Ill agree to the agreement of upgrading to a programmable ESC.
However before I scrapped it, id run through the speed control set-up section found in that manual I linked. Possible the neutral position is set incorrectly. And be sure to set the throttle trim on your transmitter to neutral or zero before you do so.
Ohh see I had done the ran through the setup but I hadn't set the trim to zero
