anyone had one? this cars slow and the battery loses charge pretty quik, it feels like something in the gearbox might be tighter than it should be but i'm not sure? can a electric speed control take more power than others?

it's brand new i just baught it today

no its just crap out the box man, you should went with the RC10T4 its the same price.
we sell the evader at my job and its only $159.99 but they never sell. see if you can return it and get yourself a RC10T4

i paid 100 for this one new, i think it was the battery packs. i think i got a few bad ones.

I enjoy the evader line. It is a good entrance rig. I used some venom 6cell batteries of 3300 mah, and got decent runtimes. Check that the spur gear is not meshed too tightly to the pinion.

rc10t4 is same price and much better truck

it's not a truck, it's a buggy "the bx" and show me where i can get a rc10t4 ready to run, with motor, reciever, transmitter and speed control for 100 bucks?

Agreed, try the paper test on the spur and pinion. Here is a how to vid if you are not familiar.

i think they were meshed too tight. took it out tonight and it ran good, i'm thinking about putting a brushless esc and motor on it...

id worry about the diff in it, dont seem like it could handle the pressures of bl, but hell, go ahead. its only $100, you could always make it stronger.

yea I'm blind didnt reliaze it was the buggy, but the stadium truck is only $169.99 rtr i woulda went with the team ass though, try to get you a sidewinder kit for it. see how long it last, i bet it flys like a jet for a few mins lol

well, i think i figured part of it out. i picked up the stadium truck for 40 bucks because i broke the back frame mount on the buggy, and needed another. well i pulled the tranny apart in the truck and theres no bearings, only gold bushings, that's prob. causing a lot of negative resistance, anyways i replaced them with bearings i had out of a 4 tec, haven't used it yet, but i still gotta replace the bearins in the a arms, there not the same size..

well, the bx box didn't say pro. but it did come with aluminum shocks and ball bearings in the transmission and wheels.

the st i have did not...
