is the drake supposed to come with cvds? because mine definalty didn't...

mine has like crappy looking plastic/steel dogbones

You sure you go a drake? What engine is on it? Is the word "GRAPHITE" stamped all over?

I thought they were supposed to have cvd's as well.

I have the xxx-nt RTR and it came with what you described.

I'm 100% sure its the drake.

you would figure on a high model it would have cvds

its in my gallery

Its a universal style joint.

again the question should be asked why would they inlcuded these on the high lvl of kit

Because they work great.
I raced my Drake hard for two seasons and they never showed any signs of wear. Why mess with something that works.

Losi is great about including the best parts in their upper end kits and would have included a different setup if they weren't already the best available.

Even Drake himself runs the universal instead of the cvd's....he claims the cvd's increase forward traction but the Losi universals increase side bite and are better in the ruff.....he talks about it in the tech talk section of the trinity website under topic ...Ask the Drake.

Correct.. the CVD's give better forward bite.. i think the universals are better.. i had a Kinwald buggy, and a Francis truck.. that i took the CVD's out of that.. seemed the universals gave better torque

damn they sound great i had to shoe go my cvds back to gether, its ok there not going any were now! totaly :tank: proof
