I LOVE drag racing, I have for many years. When I lived in Florida I went to the Gatornats in Gainesville every year, and spent countless hours at both Moroso Motorsports park, Bradenton Dragway, and Hollywood Fl drag strip before it was shut down. Got a huge NHRA die cast collection, several autographed by John Force, Al Hoffman, Kenny Bernstein, and a few more.

I love drag racing! Years ago we had a couple of tracks in the area, one is closed but I not sure about the other one....Alpine is State capital dragway in erwinville still open?

Loved to go to Heartland Park and wrench on my friend's door slammer when I lived in Kansas.

I love drag racing! I usually watch them on espn every other sunday. I also race my Z once in a while, but I think I'm done for this year. I picked up .3 seconds on my last runs wednesday night and the only difference was Pennsylvania gas. 14.1 @99 with my little na 3.5 v6. I don't get it....unless it has something to do with ethanol or maybe a lack thereof.

So when are we going to get all of the fishnets and high heels out of storage for the summer "drags"??????

my first drag race was in 1955 in grearbead ks. it was the first national drags by NHRA. the people in greatbead didnt like the way NHRA ran things and the next year they had AHRA run the drag races. from 1965 to 1969 my dad and i went to the world points finals in tulsa, every year in the fall. when you are old enough that things you were a part of are historic you ARE old.

Def. more of a dragracing fan than nascar. Wish I had still had my 02 Crew Cab Duramax with a big tune and built transmission. A sleeper that would beat pretty much anything stop light to stop light

to: racer try this url. http://www.kidragway.com/ went last year to the motor cycle drags. this year the motor cycle drags are aug 18,19,20. it looks like someone is making it a realy good drag strip. it has a real building for the food, and rest room

yes its at the same place. on ridge rd. its about 5 miles from me i meet a guy that has 4 countem 4 top fuel motor cycles. i hope to see him next mo. if i can stand the heat.

I never really been a big fan of drag racing although I respect the genre of racing for what it is. However, I find 2 second 0-100 rc drags absolutely fascinating. I wish it were popular around here.

I also enjoyed watching the Mud Drags. If you blink, you miss the race.

there is a big difference in the top fuel class from the late 60s to today. in the late 60s an engine had only prats that were stock for a chrysler new yorker, imperial, 300. 1957-1958. now days all the engine parts are made just for racing. iam talking about, the block, heads, cranks

why can't espn2 put nhra drag racing on at the time listed? iam tired of this.
