I did the correct bind method for enabling safe select, directions say power throttle to 25% then idle back down pickup plane and tilt from side to side and watch the deflection in ailerons rudder etc.
Nothing happens, the switch has 3 positions, i tried all 3

what could i be doing wrong? seems pretty simple.

I wish I could help, but I really dislike safe select. I know it's good for a lot of folks, but there are to many twists and turns to setting it up. See if you can find a vid on you tube would probably be the easiest solution.

I think safe is already loaded when you bind.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem.

Raise and lower the throttle and see if that kicks it off. Also you have to lay your birdy flat on its belly for the ax3x kicks in. Just gotting messing with it.
