Went for a beach run last night :D was having a blast until beach patrol showed up, and had the nerve to try and give me a SPEEDING TICKET...LOL.

I almost pee'd laughing so hard at hearing how serious the officer was asking "Sir, do you know how fast you where going?"

Anyways...here's the aftermath of a good run

10 MPH if you are IN the car driving on the beach.
I don't think it applies to being OUTSIDE it. :hehe:

He dropped trying to persue it after i said something along the lines of that, then started saying i was a hazard to beach go'ers. Even though it was eight at night, and not a soul was on the beach. It wasn't worth getting agravated over so i just left. :\

hahahaha that crazy! i was out driving my maxx in front of my hous the other day and a cop drove by rolled down his window and said "hey that thing is awesome!" and drove off... i didnt think of it but i shoulda had him use his radar to see how fast it tops out at

Its a "toy". They can give you a ticket for that when they start ticketing Frisbees for going to fast. I have so many cops in my family that I call bullshit so fast that it often gets me in trouble in these kinda circumstances.

I live on the dead end part of my road and all the neibors (well not all but a good amount) will come out and watch and ask a bunch of questions and stand there amaized at the speed and everything. I had a cop tell me I couldnt run it on my street but couldnt come up with a reason... he came out of his way just to say somthing!!! I lived in a different area about 6 months ago and was having races against friends and acouple cops, figure that out, all on public streets. you know the worst part of it is my street has been closed to public traffic due to construction on the last turn off and a portion of my road.. so I have the last part of my road to myself until people come home for the night... I still drive it out there hehehe.... because the only thing that is said on the box on some is not on publicways,,, well my road is closed to the public.. I can't wait for the new pavement myself so I can bring out the rs4!!!! I have only ran that about 6 times so far.... well hopefully none of us get any tickets or worse!!! have fun liife is too short to stress out about!! and the cops around here need to chill out!!!!

I live in a small town and was running my Baja 5b along the Railroad tracks when the local cops came by to see what was making the noise. They stayed and watched and actually clocked the buggy with their Radar. All they told me was to be careful and have fun.

Most cops are honest, nice, fun loving people who don't care if your f'in off so long as your safe and not hurting anyone or breaking alot of laws. They are just over shadowed by the d-bags who are always stepping in to make it known that they are the law. They do like to have fun, just ask my brother about off duty "testing" of his tazer and breathalyzer.

Calling all Cars! calling all cars! we have us a stunt driver on the beach!

haha the fuzz around here (small town ontario) is pretty good. they aren't even really worried about the pot smokers. what they do take a heavy hand on is hard drug use//traffick, public indecency, and DUI. every now and then we get a rookie who throws around a god conflict until he pulls over someone for something stupid who is related to one of the vets on the force. then the rook gets ripped apart in front of civilians. it happens to them all till they learn to relax and judge a situation better, and to respect the people of the town.
good cops though.

I ziptied a Garmin onto the back of my savage XL in between the shock tower and bumper. The max speed readout said 43 mph. Of course I'm not sure exactly how accurate a Garmin is.
