dont know which one to get? please advice!!!

hello, everyone! lm willing to get OFNA MBX R2 80% KIT or HOTBODIES LIGHTNING 2 PRO, but still hovering not sure about it. anyone could advice for it. l've got futaba 3pk radio gear, it's for my savage 26, and l will aslo use it for buggy. also please advice what kind of great engine for both buggy, please inform me.

Go for the Lightning2, its much much newer and a very good buggy. I have one and prefer it to my Storm Pro by a mile and I can get spares for it easy. A L2pro is currently winning our club championship and has won 5 of of the last 6 rounds. Not in my hands though!

Are you going to Bash or race it?

I'm with Ryan on that one. The Pro 2 has the same type of design as the Kanai's. If your on a budget? The Ofna Hyper 8 port is a nice engine, you can pick one up for about $119 brand new

Why not go for the L2 RR, its only about £20 dearer than the pro and you get the .26 Hot bodies lump with it and the spare radio gear too? There are some differences (obviously) between the RR and the Pro like universals etc and the chassis braces but you could get these parts for much less than an engine.....

Are you anywhere near Sussex? I know a shop that £40 discount just 'cos i asked! Got my Pro2 for £260 which makes it pretty unbeatable value.

I just checked and no its not sorry only in the continental US. but if anybody orders from Ultimatehobbies.com I would call them first, because there in store prices are usually lower then their internet prices. Call them and they'll make you a deal and you still get the free shipping in the continental us.

thanks for advice, you're right, l think l'll get RR instead of Pro 2. lm in Egham at the moment. l was wondering which shop you're talking to? that price is an Amazing! how much they selling RR? Is it £314? please inform me!

Try GM Models (in Kent) they have the Pro and RR, I just order some spares from them and got them within 24hrs!

The shop where i got my Pro2 was "Horace Fuller" my LHS I think I had the last one though...try them anyway!

I'm going to be selling my Lightning Pro 2 soon. Waiting on parts ordered to make it a good rolling chasis. Also have to get a digi cam, so I can post pics. That way the buyer knows exactly what they are getting.
