My MBX-4 runs better on the glo-starter, even after 1/2 a tank of gas. The idle drops alittle and it boggs when it revs up w/o the starter attached. It also has a slight miss about about 80% from max RPM, then it revs up nice and quick the rest of the way. When driving the car on the road it takes 30-40 ydrs befor it reaches max RPM. Do I need a hotter plug or just a needle adjustment?

The low speed needle sounds rich. Is there lots of smoke coming out the ehxaust when it is bogging?

It's a RB concept 7 running on 20% Backyard Basher w/ a fox std. short 4101 plug. I got the buggy used and replaced the plug with what my LHS had. He said that the Fox plug was equal to what came out. I really don't trust my LHS though because they deal mostly in airplanes/Helo. They didn't know what a Mugen was when I took it by there:loser: Has anyone herd of Fox plugs?Should it be in my car?

I went to thier website but no info about the plug was avalible, but I did see something about "Black Fox" Med. and Hot plug for cars and trucks. BTW nothing but planes pictured.

My brother runs O'donnell 20% in his. He has tried several different plugs for his S7 and he really likes the McCoy 8 and RB 6 plugs. I will ask him about it and see what plug he thinks is best for that particular engine.

Try an OS #8. The only plug I use in my two .12 engines and 2 .21 engines, with O'Donnell 20% fuel.

Thanks, I'd really like to know what he runs because I haven't met anyone who runs that eng.

P.S. How 's that -5 running?
