do i have a leak?

my 3.3 will not idle, i have to open the carb almost half way to make it idle. If i let go of the trigger and close the carb it immediately dies. When i make it idle it runs great, max temp is 220 while idling. But it blows air and fuel out of the carb. Do you think i have an air leak?

I think you have one. Seal the carb and backing plate if you haven't done so already. Then check your fuel lines and tank for leaks. You are probably getting the one way dirty as hell too so don't be suprised if she starts slipping on you.

Sounds like you have the LSN way too rich. It's hard to set the idle on a Traxxas car because the stock clutches drag at even the lowest idle speed. This is confusing for even experienced tuners.
