Difference between axial .32 spec 1s and .32RR-1?

Whats the difference between these two motors? Their website describes how both are great, and both are for monster truck bashing but which has more power/reliability?

I've got a Monster GT currently running a Axial .28 Spec 1s which i just use for bashing around fields, jumps etc.

LRP .28 or .30, Picco .28 willl wipe both those engine's ass all day long. I'd go with the .30 if you choose LRP, it's been beefed up vs. the .28....not that it had any problems.
I speak from experience btw. I have not had my hands on the newer .32, but knowing the company all to well I do not recommend their engines to anyone. I've had 3 more Axials than you, only one was good. Customer service blows. I cracked a block in half on grass....no help what so ever. Hell even my STS .28 could take a crash on pavement with only a few broken head fins. One of the Axial's, the main bearing fell apart after breakin during inspection. Again, no customer support. Only one out of four would produce power below 280F. Sound like a quality product to you? Bigger displacement does not always equal more power. Sure the .32 will have a lot of torque for a few RPM's, after that it makes nothing. This is where the others I mentioned really start to shine.... My LRP and Picco make more power @ 200-230F than any Axial could ever hope too.

alright did some research, axial .32 has 1.6HP and this LRP .30 has 4.12 (Pull start) Same price too.

This may be true...if you happen to get one that was manufactured correctly. Axial is very inconsistent. An engine modder bought 4 .28's, none of them had the same timing...This is very important. All engine manufactuers vary some, but Axial used to be terrible. I cannot comment on their newer stuff. I'll wait and let other people be guinea pigs!
Look at the dyno graphs again peak h.p. does not mean much, especially if it is early in the rpm range.
When you choose an engine you need to look for one with a broad h.p. and torque rating with plenty of rpm's.
Also pipes have a significant effect on engines, a different pipe on either engine would have shown different results on a dyno and in the r/c.
Go to any forum, the LRP is famous for making great power from bottom to a blistering high top end the Axial will not achieve without modding...Ask an engine modder what would be the better choice.
Axials modded with good bearings installed are screamers. Stock for stock, they do not compare to LRP or Picco.
This is why Neobart said these numbers are worthless. He's 100% right.

I am with Neobart and Scrogg. I have owned two Axials and two LRP .28s plus a LRP .30. Hands down the LRP will wipe up and leave an Axial in the dust....Out pull, out run, sounds better, just all around a better engine. Picco's are good too. Just giving you an honest opinion.

Only the LRP .21 is. Picco made it for them. They just put LRP and changed the colors on a Picco P7 .21 The rest are all SH engines to my knowledge.
SH makes Dynamite's, Losi's, Mach'ss, XTM's, GS Racing's and few more other brands plus their own line....
The LRP's are good mills, the .30 is built stronger than any of their previous models. It should be an impressive mill.
