less than half the RCNT members have more than 1 post. I say fu..............ck all those people

Why arent people as obsessed as I am?

huhu refresh....I need refresh for my bung hole huhuh F5, F5!!!

LOL, sounds like Humbolt wants to be the man i once was....a long time ago.
BTW: i quit saying [move]-Kellen[/move]
for some odd reason.

:jester: all i know is i dont talk much here cause still learnign about people..

Who are you kidding? You just wait for the perfect opportunity to plug the site lolol

just bustin yer nuts man.......

Silent - where the hell you been man?

Humbo - you would be surprised at the number of people who come here and just read, read, read and read yet dont post. They PM me, or other members here, but for some reason just do not post. Its ALL GOOD! Keeps the site active to say the least.

Hey Christian, I've been around here and there but I've mostly been trying just to read and not Post. I hope you all appreciate my Drastic Efforts to stop my drastic spamming. I know Sky appreciates it. :hehe:
But I've mostly been playing and tinkering with my rustler and Savage trying to squeeze more performance out of it to beat my friends OFNA Mbx witha Picco G1 engine.

its nice to be doing it instead of talking about it isnt it. Since the wheather has gotten better so has my life as I am out tunning, racing, and practicing 3-4 days a week. We are going to start holding Weds night racing for the duration of the summer. My driverstand goes up this weeked!!!!!!!!!!:w00t:

nice humbo we don't have a drivers stand yet. what's that running you guys? are you footing the bill or LHS helping or are all the guys pitching in?

Staying with the topic, it seem for every post there are 10 views. I don't know if it's the same people over and over looking at the same thread (could be that f5 key). I know we have a lot of sleepers though. I had some guy PM me about a Savage. LOL I'm like "ummm... I don't know much about them aside from the fact that I want one"

LHS is pitching in some. We have a little over $200 worth of lumber and its really like $400 bucks but the local lumber yard gave us a big break because of what it is for. They also gave me a huge discount on the wheather piping to mark off the lanes. I am surprised how much people want to help. I think it is the area I live in people are more friendly and willing to help out.

damn WoddiE's always at work. Look what he did to the profile layout. Looks nice WoodiE.

Now I have noticed the fact that many people just look and do not post. That i understand, just looking for info, why ask a question someone already asked? But why go through the trouble to become a member, post once or twice, and thats it?

I agree with blazer - more people need to post, so i dont feel like i am too obsessive.

At least my hobby shop hasnt said "dude, we can't sell u anything anymore, u need to go spend ur money on other things, lol"

Thats when you know you have a problem!

You are right. Some us are still very new at this. I give my 2cents if I think I know the right answer, and ask questions when I need to know something too.I have learned a great real from this site. Not everybody has to throw :spam around to be a viewed member.

In defense to the people that do not post but register and myself being that I do the samething. Most forums will give you higher permissions if you register, such as being able to view other hidden forums (such as the Free for All here on RCNT), registering here also gives you the ability to post images in the gallery or use the free e-mail service.

Along with the above, becoming a member also gives you chances to enter contests, give aways, the lottery, and something else that is going to happen in August in New York - RCNT bash meetings.

I too have been known to view a site for many months, or even years before becoming a member. Even then I dont post like there's no tomorrow. Hell I own RCNT and I only average about 5 posts a day.

Well then why did you make the Avatar at such a high post count.

humboldtblazer - Back in the early days RCNT allowed everyone to have an avatar, RCNT also quickly grew. The growth in RCNT members also caused growth in other areas.

One area being bandwidth - regardless of what you may read on other sites bandwidth is anything BUT cheap. Even in the early stages RCNT used a good amount of bandwidth, after looking at the hosting stats and logs it was found Avatars used more bandwidth then any two things combined. At the same time members like avatars so to reach a happy medium we allowed them to stay, but only for members that have been here for a while thus the high post count. Avatars are considered more of a reward for helping RCNT grow, before any ol joe could get them.
