i was jumping my buggy(xb8) today over a bike path and into a ditch. there was a culvert in the ditch but i wasn't worried bcause it was off to the side. well i was starting to go bigger and bigger and then i lost controll on the face of the jump and went sideways. well the front h arm on the left hand side hit the culvert edge and it did a fair amount of damag

-front h arm has a slice through one suport
-rear hingpin holder(the aluminum thing) pretty much bent in half
-and the screws that hold the hingpin holder pulled out and stripped thediff case holes.

i must say the damage isnt too bad compared to what i thought it was. i guess every noob does something stupid like this at some point

wow thats some good damage, about $50 should fix it though. 8 for an arm, 10 for a diff case. and about 35 for the aluminum piece.

Noob? hell, I do that kind of crap all the time!
LOL good one
I'm such a noob I do it everytime I run it seems....when I don't break every time I run can I stop thinkin of myself as a noob.....

I have a T-Maxx do I need say more lol. I'm lucky if I get the thing out my front door lately with out it breaking. At least you where having fun when you did it, and wasn't like me and just took off out control on a mission of self distruction lmao!

hehe when i was driving my nMT i went right into the middle I was so far off LOLit almost got stuck!

actually i fixed it with all the broken parts and was playing around with it only to have my glowplug die on the first tank

My kid ran mine into a guardrail we had been jumping. Wish I had it on a vid. Didn't see it, but I don't think you could have made anymore noise if ya hit it with a sledgehammer.

Knocked out 2 screws and bent the chassis a little. Air cleaner was laying about 50ft. away. He hit square on though, where the bumper took most of it. Ran it 2 or 3 months after that without doing a thing to it. I wouldn't have beleived it. The buggies are tanks! If you do very much damage, I hope ya have video. I was expecting mine to be trashed.

Glad you are running again. Just because ya broke something, doesn't make ya a noobie. Just having way too much fun! :hammer:
