Really? Thanks for letting me know! I'll be sure to fix that

Lookin great but I gotta ask, the bumpers and rocl sliders plastic or metal?

Plastic.... But they have the metal version on their site for relatively cheap.

The metal sliders are great, I have them on my SCX-10. Looking good so far.

Thanks Hamz, I'm super psyched to get it going with some electronics! These beadlocks are killing me though..

Show me which beadlocks you have. I got these from a factory advised 1 hour assembly PER WHEEL to about 10 minutes each.

Put them aside. I'll fill you in on the trix tomorrow.

When I used those beadlocks I would trim the edge of the inner part of the foam, it made it a little easier to press the front and rear parts of the wheel together. After you get one bolt started

Get a 1/4 X 20 pan head slotted screw, washers that will not cover any part of the lug holes (one each side) and a nut. A wing nut is ideal.
Put all the parts in order and start to snug down the bolt. As it starts to close in on the bead, tuck it in while tightening down slightly. When it's all tucked in, put in your lug nuts, tighten them down and remove the center bolt.
Rather than trying to fight with 6 little nuts and bolts, or 12 on the outer ring, as was my case, you only have to snug down one and still have the freedom to work the bead into place and keep it there.

According to your pics, you might not want to use a washer on the inside of that rim. If you need more clearance you can cut a piece of aluminum tubing to extend it out to the nut and still be able to get the screws in place.

Tell me about it. I decided to paint them AFTER they were already mounted.

off to a good start can't wait to see how it turns out

I've seen some trucks with a couple stripes like this. But don't know where to get them, anyone seen anything?

Can't wait. I think I should put them on before the clear coat, that makes sense right?
