Crawler motor?

So do you buy the clod and stick the stuff on it? Or build from various parts?

Also how do you run twin motors?

This will be next years project!

On a Clod the motors and gearboxes are mounted directly on the axles. So there is one motor on both the front and rear axles.

When you build a crawler from a stock clod, you take the rims, tires, body, and complete axles off the truck, and throw eveything else away, lol. The rest of a stock Clod is useless for a crawler, these are the only parts you will need.

I'm a noob with electric motors so what are motor lathes????

Not "Motor Lathes", but "Lathe Motors"... Basically a High torque, low speed motor for crawling....

Hey if you guys put together a list of what parts you want I can come up with a "RCNT Brother-In-Law Tatoo Wearing" price list
Just fyi the Novak system would be $147+ Shipping
