I just got an Email from HobbyTown that they are about to stage the grand opening for a crawler track this Saturday.
I plan to be there, and I hope that it might open the door for a flat track and/or some off roading.

sweet, get some pics!

I don't know why you would need a off road track or any track, because we all know the closest you get to off road is going from the Egyptian cotton sheets to the goose down feather pillow and then right back onto the display shelf after it receives a good wax and polish treatment, LOL!!!!!:hehe::p::D

But have fun!!!!! and Just look away if you see a rig getting beat up or dirty, LOL!!!

LMFAO!!

I'll be paying a kid to crawl behind my crawler with an Eider Down pillow covered with a taupe Egyptian cotton case, in case of a mishap.

that sounds like a good plan lol.

is it gonna be an indoor course?

I'm not sure yet. I had no inside info before I got the Email. Either way, it's a way to hang with others members in the hobby and maybe link up with someone who has an outdoor nitro track.

Does that mean the Savvy might actully see some nitro in it's tank or is it just so you can smell some nitro fumes to remind you of the good old days when you used to actully run your rigs and get them dirty, LOL!!!!!!:p:

Naah Ralph know we all think he is a great guy, just a little ribbing, but I think if I ever saw a video of his Savvey running on a track with exhaust fumes coming out its tail pipe I might pass out or go into shock, LOL!!!!!

As long as it wasn't done with some computer editing, LOL!!!!! I could just see Ralph video recording his Savvy with a blue screen behind it and then adding a track and exhaust fumes, LOL!!!!:D:p::hehe:

Parkside Drive in Turkey Creek which is in Knoxville. Farragut border.
AM? AM?
I'd love to, but there's no 6:30 AM on any of my clocks.

You had a Grand Prix? I had a '64 and a '69. I had the 69 for 22 years. On and off the road many times, and 4 different paint jobs. Yup, it saw a lot of wax and Armoral through the years.
