i was online earlier today. dont remember what exactly just online. iwas playing my ps2 when i look over to my laptop and it says something about spyware to get rid of it. so i use that aol spy ware scanner thing. it cleans it out i re start the laptop. when it turns back on i lost my back round picture. it used to be a toyota supra now it plain grey. how do i get it back? can some one help? thanks in advance.

right click on the desktop, and go to properties. there should be a "desktop" tab (win xp) there you can pick whatever background pic you want, (you can also browse your pc for other pics.) or you can find a pic online you like, right click that pic, and hit "set as background"

but you first need to make sure you removed all the spyware. try using, "ad-aware se" "spybot search and destroy" and the "microsoft antispyware" works pretty good to. what do you use for antivirus?

eeewwww, AOL pc health tools! About the worst thing you can install, in my opinion.

Just as beason said, use something else. Lavasofts' Ad-aware is a good one (www.lavasoft.de), as well as spybot s&d (www.safer-networking.org). Both are free, and update their definitions regularly.

Now, for your background, Just as beason said, right click on desktop, properties, then over to the Desktop tab. If it isn't listed in there, you'll have to re-locate your background image.

thanks you guys. i didnt get all the spyware out. when i got that search and distroy thing fixed everything. thanks again I'm going to put that into my computer get i fix it.
