someone told me that i couldnt use analog servos with the new 2.4ghz tx/rx...is this true?and that digital servos couldnt be used with the old am rx/tx?..............is this why my digital steering servo is glitchy, because I'm using it with the old school tx/rx?...confused,lol

As far as I know (and someone may correct me here because I've not used many analog servos in my time) that either type of servo will work on either type of RX. "Glitchiness" in a servo is usually either the result of radio interferance in which case the motor will act glitchy too or sometimes the servo is drawing too much power which can also cause it. To much power is usually only an issue in high speed or high torque servos though unless you have a lot of other stuff hooked up to your RX thats "starving" the servo of power. Its also a possibility that the RX itself may be having issues. I've seen that happen before too.

Ya it is a high speed high torque servo,I'm running 6 v through it,a new tx/tx is in my near future ,just wanna know what I'm gettin into

Generally a single servo running on 6V wont pull enough juice to cause a problem. It usually starts being a problem when there are multiple servos or other various electronics hooked up to it. If you continue to have a problem after upgrading to a 2.4Ghz radio set up Id try running the servo directly off of a battery through a BEC.
