Comp Rig Selection Process

What's up Everyone!

I am really interested in building something to complete in the Unlimited Class we run locally. I've been blown away looking at people's builds and the different directions they have taken.

It's added so much to the thought process for me; do I build something completely custom? Do I use my Stance as a donor and build out a Poizd? Or do I leave it as a capable Class 2 rig and build out a new kit like the Wizard?

Id like to build a custom truck, I like the ottsix wizzard. The exo caged executioner looks pretty awesome too. So many great choices out right now.

I always try to favor locally sourced. If I remember yer in Canada. All I found was things for sale by Canada retailers, not made there....so I voted for the custom wizard....so I can watch it come together.

I pulled an all nighter last night with my little dude so I am a bit out of it today

It's so true! We have had a few out at events. At the previous event in February we had a team driver from Exo. His friend made the 7-8hr drive but his team driver buddy was competing in the states.

There is someone developing something locally but it's word of mouth right now. There were three-four of them at the Comp.

Well after much internal debate, sleepless nights..... because of my son (), I made a decision.

After speaking with the locally sourced chassis manufacturer at the comp, it's more of a word of mouth thing right now. No real store front or anything yet. I decided I wanted something a little more ironed out.

We had snow today so I think outdoor comps are far from everyone else's mind except mine.

Congrats Creepy, you will love that chassis, it is well done and thought out. I was able to go crawlin and see it in action on the rocks when it was being designed/refined, really impressive capabilities. I'm am looking forward to seeing your build come together.

Thanks RLB454 It's actually the truck pictured, Prodigy RC shipped it out ARTR; I am beyond stoked!

As I mentioned at some point, we have some ExocagedRC rigs, the big dog has a Poizd and then there are the custom builders or the local manufacturer who is getting things going.

The Stance wasn't competitive against any of those so I "needed" a new truck

That's cool you got one of their already built rigs, seems the guys do everything to perfection, no loose ends
I didnt actually see this particular truck you purchased, but one of the prototypes on the rocks.
