What is the hardest, most durable 1/8th scale clutch bell available?

My truggy eats them like candy. It's not wiping out the teeth like normal, but rather cracking them. The teeth are busting right off the bearings.

I'm running my Dominator/T-Maxx hybrid setup with a wasp .26 mill with about seven or eight gallons through it. It still makes mad low end torque and may be too much power for it.

Thanks in advance.

people like the ofna bells, for the price. But after that it comes down to brand loyality. I neve had any problems with my ofna bells though.

Well, in six runs I've blown five clutch bells regardless of brand.

I've used ofna, hpi, and kyosho and none seem to hold up.

Talk to plaid about this one, he was having problems with cb's at one point with his hybrid. He should be able to help you out.

It sounds more like a drivline problem then a cb problem, but I'd have to see it to say more.

nitride coated sportwerks or Xray...they're Hudy steel so you pay for it.....OFNA, K-Factory, Mugen...I have a few of each in the pit box and have had good experience w/ all of them....

Where could I find one? My LHS around here doesn't carry anything more than the OFNA hardened.

I bet bruce sells em....or can get them......if you can get teh Xray CBs.....that steel is just unreal for not wearing....my friends going to try and fit a set of Xray universals in his Prospec cause mine (hudy steel) lasted 3 times longer than his did.....
