charger / battery / adapter confusion I'm new , I don't solder , I have a Spektrum

I'm new , I don't solder , I have a Spektrum Smart charger with a female IC 3/5
connection . I inherited a Trophy Rat and a battery with a female T style Deans
connection. Is there any way I can use my Spektrum charger with my female
Deans T style battery or do I buy another charger ? Thanks , ShortShift

It depends on the charger. Some have leads that can be replaced, and in that case, you might be able to get new leads with the plug you need. Another option is an IC5 to T-connector adapter. Or you can either find a hobby shop, or a friend that will solder the connector you need for it.

Hello. post a pic or actual model # of the charger you own. from a quick look at smart charger by spectrum it looks like a female xt 60 plug... Id look at what we call a squid cable it as several different battery style plugs on the ends..I have several 1 homemade the other online purchase... Id suggest that you learn how to solder and use heat shrink tube it can be a real time saver ...
