Okay - after taking apart the NTC3 this weekend, i noticed that i am in dire need of several clutch pieces. Before I go and spend 50.00 on all this stuff, I am wondering if i should just pony up and get the centax. Anyone own a centax clutch? is it really that much better? BTW - i do race, so acceleration, and adjustabiity is a big deal to me. Also, since i have an NTC3, my mill has a SG shaft. can i still use a centax with it? help!

I believe you can only use an SG shaft on a centax.

I aslo believe it is way worth it. Acceleration is stronger, and the ajustability will help fine tune your ride for even more of an edge against your competitors (well the yokomo centax at least). All high end race kits come with a centax. If you are into racing and want a full on race ride, go with the centax.

thank mjime - AE make one for my NTC3, the price is 109.00 is this higher or lower than normal?

Mine is 99.95 street, but 150 srp. I think you are in the range. All are about that price. the cheapest I have seen was by Kawahara (who makes one for the NTC3 also) being sold at Speedtech RC for 89.99. They are currently out of stock of NTC3 clutches and I dont know if they are getting any more.

kewl- ill stop by my LHS today after work, and take a better look at which one they have.
