Hello,

I'm trying to get car running but when control remote is on won’t start. If everything is off will start perfectly and then if I switch on control remote on will stop.

Anyone knows what could be the reason?

PS, also when Car start start running at top speed.

Thanks

Hello, well sounds like your controller is not calibrated correctly. Did you check the throttle trim on the remote. Sound slide you need to Zero out the trims and then recalibrate to the receiver. I would start there

Thanks for you quick replay, how I can do that?

The bigger issue that there idle screw is probably too low - if you only adjust the throttle trim, then it will die whenever you brake.

Thanks now is working 😉
Whats up glad to hear you got it running. At this point I would set your engine niddles to factory spec. Then tune it out from there.

By the way what type of RC engine and car/truck is it. Also what type of fuel are you running?

Hello, it is a FTX Zorro 1/10 Nitro Trophy Truck 4WD RTR - Blue

And Merlin Expert Nitro Brandstof 16%.

Crisp looking rig!

One tip, that air filter is designed to be oiled; it helps it trap particles. You can get specific air-filter oil that's a blend of a thick, tacky oil and a thin volatile solvent, so that you can easily knead it into the filter and then it dries, leaving just the tarry oil that'll help it trap particles.

There's nitro/rc specific air filter oil available, but it's kind of pricey when a "full-sized" bottle of yamalube air filter oil is $10 and will last you a lifetime of RC use.
