Oh one other thing, if you look at the pics closely you will see the my steering linkage changed, my buddy and his son show up and he bought me my new Delrin steering linkage that he custom cut for my crawler, it seems to slide over the rocks better then the aluminum did.

Curtis: I may be a noob and get dismissed by most the crawler geeks on here, but I thought your rig looked pretty hooked up for the course you were running. I could see you needing massive articulation for crawling around big ass boulders, but that wasn't where you were running. Isn't that the name of the game--tuning for the conditions? Or do I just not get it???

travels pretty good imo, just that right amount.

Looks good to my noob ass!

i like keeping the tires on the ground. i know about how far i can go before i will lift a tire. his seems to lift a tire way too soon. this is how i like mine setup.

That thing had one wheel off the ground plenty. Sure it had a little more flex than Curtis, but the terrain was way different too.

maybe i am linked to a different video than you guy. :hehe:

it just looks like his front axle stays straight. When one side goes up on a rock, the other side picks up with it instead of staying on the ground. The still images looks GREAT and i agree the flex looks good but in the video it just looks like the suspension never moves. where in the video does it show it twisted like the pic?

Thats a bad A$$ indoor course....

It is a very cool indoor course but let me tell you if your rig is not built pretty solid it will tear your rig up good!!!!! luckily mine survived the day out on the course, even after some 4' drops onto its lid on concrete.:whhooo:
