Have you guys seen this? This is very cool!

This shows the setup as well as a really killer run with it.

I watch all wdw's videos. Dude is an awesome crawler. I'm not at the level to even use dig , let alone duel dig lol.

Yeah, I'm not a crawler guy, so I learned a lot watching that video. The way he used the digs was really interesting.

I don't think $100 is bad at all for the amount of machining it would take to make all that. There are either complex fixtures involved or some expensive 5-axis machining. Either way, some of those parts aren't cheap to make. If I were to quote it I would have likely said more than $100 just in machining.
