can't upgrade my DX8 G2 Transmitter

I have version 2.09 on my DX8 G2 can't upgrade any higher, the as3x won't work on my models I heard you should have forward programming on the transmitter.

My Transmitter is registered and I download the updates from Spektrum it won't work, going round in circles here no one at the Club can help.

id contact spektrum.Iam sure there fine trouble shooting tecs can walk you thru a fix.once the find there prosthetic leg attachments(have zero faith in spectrum) liked there radios back when the were JR ..

As of Sept 2022, Version 2.09 was the latest. Given the age of that radio, it's possible that they haven't released any newer updates? If the update you have says it's specifically for your radio, then you'll have to call Horizon Hobbies tech support.

Forward programming will only appear in the Function List once the radio is bound to the receiver in the model, the radio is on 2.09 which is good to see forward programming.



I don't have this on my Transmitter when connected to the Eratix plane, the manual says the receiver has it, I'm thinking I need an upgrade to see it, there is a 2.10 and a 2.11 for my DX8 G2



I still don't know why I can't use the updates, perhaps the SD Card but have used it in the past.



Both the Timber X and the Eratix have safe that works I will be ok with that, got many Planes none have the AS3X so no big deal.
