Can't get on the site?

Hey guys,
I haven't been able to get on the site for about 3 days or so. When I finally get on, there are 5 pages or so of new posts. What's up? Am I just able to connect so many times in a week? Able to post so many times?
Been like a junkie needing a fix the last few days.

Do ya run any type of spyware software? If not I suggest ya do the free download of Adware Se on www.download.com Its a good one. That would be my guess why you might not be able to get on. Is it just this site? Or all sites? Lemme guess... msn user?? (I am and it sucks)

Just this site. Can get on everything else. Thought it was my firewall. Only happens on this site. Any ideas??? 3 or 4 days without www.nitrotalk.com is unbearable!!!

mine does that some times.. get the "page cannot be displayed" thing.. i just refresh and it goes through

If you guys get the "page cannot be displayed" scroll to the very bottom and look for the last line, this is the REAL error. I'm guessing it will say "cannot find server or DNS error." That means whatever bandwidth you're using to connect with can't connect to the bandwidth used by this site. It's a DNS, firewall, or other problem with your service. One which your ISP will shrug at and say "Donno, all looks fine, it must be THEM."

Many services (almost want to say MOST) are operating by proxy servers, in which the pages surfed to are stored on a server. If the proxy server doesn't think the page is new, it serves you the cached page. This adds a pain in the ass to the mix.

Also when this specifically happens - go to Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files to clear your cache. It doesn't always help, but sometimes does.
