Okay here is what I have done so far:
Checked screws to see if there tight.
Checked to see if the breaks and servos work
-added filter oil to filter
-put fuel in tank
-put igniter on glow plug
-cranked engine with rope making sure fuel is going into the intake
after no success in cranking it up for the first time checked glow plugged -igniter on plug to see if it glows orange (yes it did)
-after several cranks still didn't fire up

So what do I do? I also have tried a new glow plug and no success either.

What are you trying to start? We need to know what motor you have... Did you cover the exhaust with your finger the first couple of pulls to prime tha carb? did the motor come with break in instructions tha tell you what your needle settings should be for break in..

Its an Acme condor 1:10 scale. the manual didn't say anything about covering the exhaust but I did do that right after a few cranks. My book says that after you crank it up start enriching or reducing the amount of fuel going in the carb. but I have yet to get to that part. I called a guy that has a hobby shop not too far from where I am and he thinks it's not getting enough fuel but I have gone as far as turning the screw in all the way then back 2.5 turns to 3 or more with no success.
My next question is sense I need to do some other things now I want to pack it up and try again later. I have put in oil protectant(after run oil) that I bought from the hobby store but what about draining fuel? I have had the hoses disconnected and it turn upside down but there seems to be more fuel coming out every where I tilt it. Is it possible to still have some left over in the muffler or something and still be bad or is this okay? Reason I ask is that the fuel even leaks out of the muffler too.

.15 engin sorry forgot to say that too....

just wondering, can an igniter be crappy? can it run a new battery down quick?

i say charge the ignitor for a few hours to make sure it has a full charge. as to your question about fuel coming out of the exhaust, yes that is normal to a degree. a few drips are common.

well what if I am using a regular over the counter dry cell battery?

well got some new batteries... and no it was orange not yellow. Going to try tomorrow and hope for the best.

Well I forgot to mention, it did start up two times before the igniter stopped doing its thing, I guess. This is where I feel a bit ashamed yet not sure it was totally my fault (though generally it is).
The first time it finally started it was at an idle but I thought it sounded a bit too high, so I adjusted the flow down and it stalled. When i was looking at the throttle I thought that it looked like it was opening up a bit too much some how. So I adjusted (this part gets bad). When I tried cranking it again it went wide open for about 5 seconds until I turned it back down.
Can this be really bad or should I not worry sense it was only for a few seconds?

No problem.
You need to reset the idle and the carb to factory settings. It is set to run rich for the break in period. Don't expect it to run nice or sound nice for the first tank or two. It's all part of the process. Tuning comes later.

can you flood it? I assume you can and I think that may be what I am fighting between. Too much fuel and not enough.

i have a team infinty engine /acme mine is the cylone its a 15 engine probably the same engine, when i first got mine it wouldnt start for a while,i take the air filter off then put a little fuel into the carb

I put filter oil on the filter before I ever started. I know this is a must but could it be blocking air too?
Also we got it to start but it only seem to start after we pulled the glow plug out for a little bit and put it back on. It would only run for a little bit. When me and a bud of mine tryed to lower the idle it stalled.

BTW, I have looked at the Acme Condor 1:10 scale on youtube and I have found a few have made comments that state the model I have is a piece of $#*t. Is this true?

okay... how do you preheat other than letting it idle? This is something new and if there is a way to do it then I should know.

Don't have a heat gun yet but I'll look into it, thanks.
