i was wondering if the slash's could handle the vxl brushless system? well because i just bought a rustler vxl because i rily wanted one and i am going to use that for a long time but if i ever grow tired of it i was wondering if a slash could handel the power of that motor and esc. will the tires even hook up? has anyone done this yet? thanks

Yes it can. The Slash uses the VXL tranny.

Yes, tons of people have, including myself. In all honesty, if you plan on racing, it's too much with stock tires and set up. I run a 2s LiPo with my VXL system, and it's real hard to control. It's almost impossible to get full throttle without fishtailing all the way around the track, and spinning out. It's still extremely fun though.

Yeah out here in rainy old England! I've only used it in the rain lol.
Currently I'm running all stock but I'm going brushless etc for xmas. And if i throttle it i just wheelspins (on grass) and on the patio it fishtails like crazy! if you turn just a little the beast spins out!
Havent had it at my local club yet can not wait.

Slashes run great on the vxl. I should know as I have one in mine :)
I love it. A quick change of the gears and I am drag racing jato's :D
