i recently had a kyosho concept vr 32 which has no main blades, and i just recieved a team rc 10 gt from a friend who's leaving the country for good. I'm just wondering if i can use my heli radio on my rc 10 gt buggy? would it be just fine or i might brake the reciever. my heli is grounded because there are no available parts here in the Philippines, thanks..

ithink

i think its not 72mhz, its a hitec focus heli 5 i think its obsolete, I'm not into racing and I'm just a beginner in the rc car. what are tha circumtances that i might face if i install it on gt

thanks for the reply

Take a look on the back of the radio or on the crystal plug and see what frequency its at. I'll bet its still in the 72mhz range. The only real trouble you face is that there may be a model plane running near enough to you that your signal may interfere with it and crash the plane Your radio signal will travel further than you can see the plane you're interfering with. I just got a nice Futaba 2PL for $80 from Tower Hobbies. Bare bones, but it does the trick.

Now the interference aside, I suspect that the servos are greatly underpowered for the steering forces your rig will encounter. Hitting a hard bump or curb while steering will probably strip out the servo completely. If the servos are standard size, they should mount fine in the servo tray.

you're right its on 72 mhz, i guess your are right but here in my town there are no hobbyist like us, i see no flying plane or running cars or even boats, I'm livin' on a place where radio control seems to be a toy, as i remember there were only 3 of us who were into RC, and we are 30 miles apart. we just met every weekends to bash and fly our toys
thanks anyway for the time.. you mentioned about the servos.. it was included in the GT when i got the only missing are radio and reciever.. i am going to purchase one but up to this moment the budget is low...
