i am new at nitro cars and was looking for some tips.
like what not to do... can i go in a dirt track (hard mud) ?
can i make small jumps?
and is it a good idea to put buggy tires on a on-road?

and making my engine come lose.

Sure, you can take your road car out to a dirt track, but it will only get real dirty and bottom out everywhere.

Sure you can jump it, but you will be breaking shock towers, cups, and arms--perhaps worse.

Yes, you can put buggy-type pin tires on your car, provided they would clear the body. But, you do realize that your foam tires are for max traction?

May I make a suggestion? If you like offroad then sell the road car and get a buggy or a truggy. Then you can bash it offroad AND use it on the street. Just a thought... ;)

I wouldn't think buggy tires would fit on an on-road. They do sell rally tires. You can put those on.

It's important to remember that if your car is a belt car, NEVER run it in the dirt. Pebbles and dirt can get caught in the belts, ruining the whole setup. Rallying is great for shaft-driven cars.

The only thing you can really do with an on-road car is run on-road. They are just designed to run too low to go off-road. Even if you look at most rally type vehicles being released, they are all based on off-road platforms. I f you want to run off-road you need an off-road vehicle. On-roads can go on roads, Off-roads can go anywhere. IMO 1/10 scale 4WD buggies are the best of both worlds. I have a Kyosho Lazer and it's an awesome go all around vehicle.
