Time to relax with a campfire and a cold beverage.

It's gotten to where no matter where we go, it's become to crowded. We go camping to get away from the hustle and bustle and to enjoy nature. Seems anymore you can't get away from the loud abnoxious people who leave a big mess behind. :( I'm jealous of you guys. There are just too many people in California.

Not bad to carry a 357. When camping in Maine.
I’m glad to live in VT. Whether camping here or in NH you can pack heat. With all of the news stories of campers being the victims of crime deep in the woods, I won’t be camping unarmed. BTW, you’re Blaster, right?

Out west, yes, but in New England, I'm comfortable with a 9mm. I'm not concern about black bears.
It ain’t the bears I’m worried about. .45 for me.

At 5'6" and 163lb, a .45 would be too much of a carry for me. If I felt that unsafe about an area, I would just sling my 12g Bulldog. Like I said, I feel very comfortable and safe with a 9mm.

Yes sir man. I love camping. At least a proper sidearm is essential. A good knife and such.

Now that's gotta be fun to play with. Bet you can carry that in a Scabbard. I LOVE ITTTTT. 😆 .

Should the SHTF, and I could only take one gun, this would be my choice. It can take down big games, not destroy small games, and a solid self defense weapon with whatever is loaded in the magazine since its a semi auto.

Good call. I can always stab the bears if necessary and save the .45 for miscreants. .45 ACP’s are expensive rounds…
No dont get me wrong. When we go out gotta have a sidearm, knife, back pack with all the essentials. Don't own a .45. 357 will do. I carry a MP9. Mostly like my MP9.
