No dont get me wrong. When we go out gotta have a sidearm, knife, back pack with all the essentials. Don't own a .45. 357 will do. I carry a MP9. Mostly like my MP9.

Should the SHTF, and I could only take one gun, this would be my choice. It can take down big games, not destroy small games, and a solid self defense weapon with whatever is loaded in the magazine since its a semi auto.

We have the SHTF place right here. Next to 2 lakes and a pond. If you look up Square Lake Maine. we live in that area.

I’m glad to live in VT. Whether camping here or in NH you can pack heat. With all of the news stories of campers being the victims of crime deep in the woods, I won’t be camping unarmed. BTW, you’re Blaster, right?

I bought one of these about 10 years ago. Takes less than 3 minutes to set up in the dark. Used it at least 100 times and it is still in fine shape.
Too heavy for hikers, but folds up 36" square and about 3 inches thick in the storage bag.
