I'm leaving the hobby, I have zero motivation and funds are limiting, as is time.

It's been almost a year coming, so I wouldn't call it rash. But it's still a hard decision to make.

Don't think you'll get rid of me that easily though. :p:

That sucks man but I understand. Having no money or nothing that really pulls at ya for exciting and new doesn't help at all. Stick around since you basically live here part time and I'm sure sometime soon you will get the itch again.

I have a MUCH better idea. Stay in the hobby but leave this forum. :D:hehe:

I'll start by not wearing pants, and use an unhealthy amount of cleaning products on myself. :hehe:

^^HA HA

Hate to hear that man, but we all have our ups and downs throughout our lives. Best of luck on your situation, and stick around, if for no other reason than to bug Rolex. That would be awesome. :D

I have to take a break once in a while but I always start missing it. Do yourself a favor and don't sell everything just store it for a while...It makes the come back a lot cheaper!

I have to agree with the above statement. I haven't done a whole lot of activity with my RC stuff fro very similar reasons as you, Bart. I can't really seem to get away from this place, though. Rolex took my keys away and put them in his pants pocket and now he can't remember he left them.

Problem is, I've been pretty much storing it for the last year and a half. Very little use has it seen. This decision has been brewing for close to two years, and the switch to electric did re-spark the interest for a while. But it wasn't enough.

Several years ago I took a break for a year and a half. I sold everything I had.
When I got back in I couldn't wait to get back to this forum and back to waxing my new RCs. :D

Then again if you sell everything real cheap so you can get rid of it fast then you wont have all the painful reminders sitting around making you reminisce about the good old days....For the love of Pete, dont put your self through all of that slef torture!! SELL IT ALL CHEAP!! LoL....just kidding man....just take a break for awhile I'm sure you'll miss it again one day.

You know that is exactly what I've been through, I've felt almost sick looking at my gear. It's better to just get it out and some money back.

Me and a friend are planing a trip to London for the Rams-Patriots game next season. What are the odds that the two teams we support are gonna face off against each other, this close to home.

Too good to miss.
