ok, so i got a few brushless setups. and i'm currently having issues with the speed controls going into 50 percent throttle as soon as they get 20 feet or so, they take off good at first then they run around with 50 percent throttle, i am having this problem with 2 esc's a traxxas velenion and a e/z run i turned the auto lipo off on the traxxas velenion and it quit doing it... "these are full charged battery packs it's doing it with" so i don't think the lipos are getting low

heres what traxxas says in the instruction manual, but i'm surethe batterys are charged up.

Slow Blinking Red (with Low-Voltage Detection on): The VXL-3s has
entered Low-Voltage Protection. When the battery voltage begins
to reach the minimum recommended discharge voltage threshold
for LiPo battery packs, the VXL-3s will limit the power output to
50% throttle. When the battery voltage attempts to fall below the
minimum threshold, the VXL-3s will shut down all motor output.
The LED on the speed control will slowly blink red, indicating a low
voltage shutdown. The VXL-3s will stay in this mode until a fully
charged battery is connected.

Were your LiPOs charged with a balancer? I honestly am not sure what could be happening. I have yet to get into the lipo thing yet but if they weren't hooked to a balancer or a charger with on in it, you could be in for some real problems and what you are experiencing is just the first of it.
If you did charge with a lipo balancer then I would suggest you call Traxxas durring buisness hours. I have to honestly say, they answer the phone pretty quick and give you helpful advice.

c rate, 20c
they run fine when the auto lipo is off.

How many mah are they? If the capacity is too small, when you accelerate the voltage drop is low enough to cause the LVC to kick in. That's why they run OK when you turn off the auto lipo setting.
