I'm upgrading a Haiboxing 4 Wheel drive race truck.
I have the new brushless motor installed and I'm waiting for the matching brushless ESC to arrive.
It appears there are no Instructions with the ESC for the plug ins for three colored wires from the brushless motor.
Can some member here help me with which colored wire goes into the three sockets on the ESC?

It would be hard to identify especially if they don't have any markings on the esc case/motor endbell. But, B would always be in the middle. A and C would be on the outside. Since its sensorless you really don't need to worry about which wire goes where. My thing is always keep B in the middle. If the motor is turning the other way you can switch the outer 2 wires and it should be back to normal.

What I was trying to say is - since it doesn't matter which wire goes where, you can make it look neat... I mean, you don't have to, tie em up in a knot if you want 🤣

which hbx you got? i have the 2997a, lov4e that thing

o nice! i usually use the hbx website, but they ran out of the parts i needed a year ago, imma have to check that out!
I forgot to mention, these upgrade parts in my post are from Amazon. So your Goggle search might give you three or more purchase options for the part. If the Amazon option is there for me, I'll usually go that purchase route. Their Amazon shipping-enroute time is usually much faster. The motor above was two days enroute shipping. The ESC was 4 day enroute shipping. :thumbs-up:

I thank all who gave me good info on the motor connections to the Upgraded ESC. :thumbs-up:
I connected the yellow lead to the middle ESC slot and the orange and blue to the outer slots. Tight fit for all leads. Connected the battery, and forward throttle and reverse work as set. :thumbs-up:
Steering servo correct. :thumbs-up:
Hardest task was getting the small red power button seated. That bugger is marked with blue arrow.
