I don't know what I did today but my Tekin RX8 system isn't working after two battery packs at the track this morning. I had steering, but no throttle. I talked to the guys at Tekin and told them the sequence of the LED flashes and audible alerts that I believed to be ECS error codes and they we’re sure, but it’s under warranty so I boxed it up and I’m going to send it off to them tomorrow.
Has anyone had a similar problem the a RX8 system?

Time to dust off the nitro's :)

No never Tried Tekin's Systems " I havent heard too much about Teken " but assume there a good product I see there stuff all the time in R/C car mag....

I use Dyamite Fuze systems in my Rig's

& if it's under warranty no worries it will just suck a bit because now you have NO system in your ride until you get a replacment back from Teken.. but could be worse LOL

Tekin is top of the line racing gear. I've never had any problems with Tekin equipment that I didnt cause myself so I've even gotten to the point where I'm using them more and more in my bashers. I'm sure Tekin will take care of it for ya though.,...they have great customer service

Yeah, they sound like they do, we talked for some time. I asked them about putting a fan on the motor and they said I didn't need to with my set-up. I told them I wasn't sure if I may have overheated it with the outside temps reaching 100 degrees, but I could touch the motor without having to pull away. Everything I described to them they weren’t sure of the problem, but they advised to just send it in.
I don't understand why their ESC can have thermal protection shutdown, but not the motor.

IDK either JK but if you could touch it with out even forcing yourself to hold on to it then Id dare say it never got above 120F I know at 138F I dont want to hold on to my motor for more than a few seconds lol.

Well it's on it's way back, got a tracking number email today. I'll see if they fixed it or replaced it in a few days.
