Well after finding out that it was going to cost me $1000 to fix the brakes and stabilizer links in my '02 Civic Si I decided to just trade her in. She's had a rough 3 years so I figured it better to move on. Didn't move far though. I picked up an '05 Civic Si w/ HFP package. Basically, it was one of those "give it away" cars because it's last years model plus with the '06's out and being as hot as they are it was hard to get rid of. It also helps to have car sales experience too :D

EDIT- ok, these are actually of mine in my driveway

Oh you definately upgraded....what were you thinking w/ the color on your old one???

Did you have to take a real bad beer piss that day or something...LOL...
:jk:
but the blue is definately nicer, and the ground effects look sweet on it....
congratulations....
BTW How much di you find the 05 for?

yeah, I was never really a fan of the yellow but I was in a tight pinch when I got that one.

Sticker for the 05 with the FHP was a bit more than 25k. They offered 23,800, I offered 21k. They offered 21500. I offered 21,200. We settled at 21,268. I think that's pretty fair. Got a fair number on my trade as well considering it needs a bit of work to be resale legal. Brakes, windshield, tires at least, and I'm sure they will replace the stabalizer links cuz they creak very noticabally right now. I'm pleased :)

...and of course it's raining today. damnit. hehe.

Is that the type R civic (Can't tell from pics)? I can see its got the v-tec 4 pot.....engines in those seem to scream like a nitro....hope you can afford lots of front tyres!!

Nice car.

Looks good! I really like that color blue. Nice pick up!

Nice car.

Here in the states they are marketed as an Si. A pretty big step down from the Jap version type R. About 40 less horsepower and no LSD available.

BTW, you may want to blur out your plate.

ahh.. good idea. Fortunately, I've never owned either of those cars. Hehe, they're just pics I found on the net that look like the respective cars I've had/have.

my buddy truthseeker has a civic si not sure what year but i drove it last sunday. alll i can say is WOW that thing is easy to drive!! the clutch throw is like 6 inches, and the shift pattern is so small. plus the car is light so you almost can't stall it.

I'm used to my 95 accord and befor that a 85 trans am witha 400sb and 5 speed. my accord is WAY harder to drive then the civic!!

I wouldn't mind picking up a short shift kit. Personally, I think the throw is waaay to long. It's one of the things I always wanted to do to my last one as well. more ponies and a short shift kit is really all I need to be satisfied.

Like the car Lesson, To bad I can't drive anymore. Color is nice too. Always like the blue.
